Just in: Total Shutdown/Boxleitner split band 7" - a split label release between SF's Zum and Olympia's Thin The Herd.

Tim Green will have two new releases out this spring, one with the Fucking Champs and the other a new Concentrick CD.

Bratmobile will be touring California in January, and Europe from Feb. 21-March 17. There's also a new Bratmobile website at www.bratmobile.com.

Sadie Shaw and Sara Reed's feature length film Charm will be showing 9:30pm January 25th and 26th in San Francisco at the Werepad, 2430 3rd St. Also Sadie Shaw's new band, the Vanishing will play after the Jan. 26th screening.

The Deerhoof 7" EP out on Nothing Fancy Just Music is now available. John is touring in Europe with Gorge Trio during Nov. and Dec., and while he's away Greg and Satomi are playing with the Curtains. Greg is also playing with the Teeth. The "Halfbird" Deerhoof cd of older recordings is now out on Menlo Park.

The Erase Errata 7"s are are all sold out. Sara still has some left that you can mail order directly from Inconvenient. Their Troubleman release is out, as is the split 7" w/ Black Dice, and the Toyo CD w/ The Need, Deerhoof, MeMe America, Blectum from Blechdom, and KG. They're hoping to spend the winter writing songs and not playing out much, then record in the spring. More info is available on the Erase Errata home page.

Sharon Cheslow has finished her "Lullabye From the Sky" CD. It features Julianna Bright (Quails, Electrolettes), Greg Saunier & John Dieterich of Deerhoof, Tim Green (Concentrick/Fucking Champs), Randy Nordschow, Jorge Boehringer (Brown Bunny Ensemble), Daan Vandewalle, and her brother Alan Cheslow. Hopefully it will be out sometime in early 2002. She'll also have a tribute piece to Yoko Ono on tinuviel's 7-hour Yoko Ono radio retrospective on WZBC (Boston). The show will stream Friday Dec. 14th, 7PM -2AM EST.

The Quails are recording new material.

"Information Related to 9/11 Attacks" was compiled in the weeks after the attacks and updated through 9/23. It will be kept online to offer some resources and perspective on the recent events that have affected us all...condolences to anyone who has experienced loss due to the tragedy.
